Relations between Parenting Style and Parenting Practices and Children’s School Achievement

This study examines the relationship between parenting patterns and children’s school achievements in Greek society. Parenting practices style are two child-rearing dynamics which were selected to assess this study. A total of 101 participants who have at least one child attaining elementary reside Greece answered an online questionnaire. In line with previous findings, aim is examine associations primary students’ Greece. The initial assumption was that both associated academic achievement. Thus, hypotheses under examination (A) authoritarian pattern negatively achievement; (B) authoritative positively (C) parental involvement affects children their performance. results show a positive relation styles achievement, although lower levels Additionally, indicate combined significant predictor grades. more means parents use socialize children, likely they achieve goals. Nevertheless, it critical importance for focus on learning process not outcome.
